Wishing You a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

It’s time for me to take my holiday blogging break, but of course, I could not do that without first wishing you, my dear readers, a very Merry Christmas. To those who celebrate, and to those who do not as well, I hope you get to spend at least moments of what remains of 2015 doing things that bring you contentment and being with people who bring you joy.

Many of us are missing loved ones no longer with us, are dealing with cancer treatment or cancer fallout, or are coping with various challenges life has thrown our way. So as always, remember it’s okay to feel a mix of emotions during the holidays too. It’s perfectly fine to feel joy mixed with sadness or however else you happen to be feeling.

Presently, I’m feeling excited, grateful and yes, a bit exhausted after getting my book finished, published and sent out into the world. What happens next is in the hands of readers. So this holiday break comes at a perfect time for me for many reasons.

But first, I want to say…

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And thank you for reading Nancy’s Point in 2015.

May 2016 be kind to us all.

See you then!

How do you plan to close out 2015?

Who are you missing this holiday season?

  1. Nancy, I am thinking of taking a break myself — feeling too overwhelmed with emotions. Planning to spend Christmas with my fiance’s family. No plans for the New Year, but I usually end up joining some last-minute gathering with friends.

Missing those family members who are no longer with us, especially my mama. I hope you have a sense of peace during these days, too.

I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Healthy 2016. Thank you for your kind wishes and enjoy your well-deserved break!

    1. Rebecca, I’m sorry you’re feeling overwhelmed with emotions, but I can’t say I’m surprised. I understand… And yes, think about taking that break. Sometimes just a little time away makes a big difference. I know you are missing certain dear loved ones, as am I. Thank you for the good wishes, too, and I will enjoy my break and time with family.

  2. Hi Nancy,

Well, the New Year has begun, and I’m starting it by leaving you a comment! I hope you have a wonderful 2016. I can’t wait to read your blogs and upcoming posts in the New Year.
