It’s time for my annual summer blogging challenge! Woo-hoo! Are you ready? Actually, I wasn’t sure about going ahead with this challenge thing this year. I mean, there’s so much going on. I’ve been wondering if it would even be appropriate.
Then again, why wouldn’t it be?
Everything has been turned upside-down since this pandemic started. There continues to be so much uncertainty and so much suffering. Routines have been disrupted for so long it’s getting hard to even remember what old routines were, am I right?
We’ve all been primarily in serious mode for months now, so perhaps this is a good way to take a tiny break and have a little fun.
Besides being fun, this now annual challenge is another way to support fellow bloggers. Doing that makes me happy.
Blog readers, you’re invited too, so keep reading.
My challenge is a tad earlier this year as that surgery I told you about earlier has been rescheduled. August is going to be about recovery for me. But more about that later. Today is NOT a day to think about all that. No, it is not.
So, let me tell you about this year’s blogging challenge.
This year’s challenge will be a blog hop like last year’s was. I’m keeping things simpler this go-around by limiting the number of questions to just eight. I don’t want this to feel like work. After all, it’s supposed to be fun.
If you decide to participate, answer the questions below in a post on YOUR blog. If you can, add an image of your own too.
I’ll answer the same questions too in a blog post next week. After mine is posted next week, come back and put in the link to YOUR blog post anytime before the deadline.
If all goes according to plan, your posts will automatically be linked on my post (next week’s), on your post and on everyone else’s posts too. There will be further directions next week, so don’t worry.
This blog hop challenge is open to any niche, cuz why not?
The deadline to share your blog post link on my post (next week’s) will be July 26.
2020 Blog Challenge Questions:
1. Who are you? Tell us whatever you want about you and your blog.
2. What has been your biggest blogging challenge during this pandemic, and how have you been tackling it (or trying to)?
3. What is something you’ve accomplished with your blog that you’re most proud of?
4. Share two of your best blogging tips.
5. What is one of your blogging goals this year?
6. When things get hard, what keeps you blogging, even if not regularly?
7. What is a dream you have for your blog?
8. Share a link to a favorite post you’ve written that you want more people to read.
Can’t wait to read your answers, so get your answers and blog posts ready!
Not a blogger?
That’s okay. You’re included in this challenge too because bloggers always want to hear from readers. Find out how you can participate in next week’s post.
Okay. That’s it.
Who’s in?
Spread the word. Share this post. The more the merrier!
Do you plan to participate in this year’s challenge, why or why not?

I'm in, Nancy! Your prompt just reminded me to check out the last 'challenge' I participated in here (that was in 2018) and I remember what fun it was to answer the questions! Thanks for doing this again! cheers, C.

Nancy I’m in! Unlucky for me I’ve been bedridden for going on two days now. I owe a post to one other person then onto the blog hop. Thank you for tweeting it out this year so I was able to pick it up - the only social media I am used to checking daily. I feel like I'm so behind on everything right now. life can be overwhelming under cancer’s workload alone - there never seem to be enough hours - my blog, training and executing on becoming a patient advocate for LBBC, and my health and of course my small business and my marriage. Otherwise I can take every moment and somewhat relish the time in bed after three weeks of house guests that I played the good hostess to and stepkid drama - - a on top! Love you and absolutely will not let you down this year!
